Nourishing Creativity is a space for your creative projects, ideas, and dreams. It’s a love letter to the creative in me, the creative in you, and the creator in every thought, action, and idea that we bring into the world.
Maybe you want to write a book, take a class, start a Substack, or finally move forward with your creative idea. Or maybe you’re staring at a blank screen, stuck in inaction because there are too many ideas (AI loop included).
Inside Nourishing Creativity, we will explore how to nourish your creativity through the bright spots of life and in the challenging seasons too, because isn’t that what this life is asking us all to do?

I’m a content strategist, food creative, and podcast host. I work with entrepreneurs and brands to bring their vision to life with content that captivates, connects, and converts. Content that’s not just a vibe, but stirs emotion and moves your people to action.
For the past 10+ years, I’ve partnered with iconic brands like Bobbi Brown, Bumble Bee Tuna, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and so many more to craft strategies and creative campaigns that don’t just align with their brand values but that bring in the money-honey.
Where does “Chef Carla” come from? I worked in professional kitchens for 25+ years, including an appearance on Chopped! on the Food Network. I’ve also contributed to hundreds of photo shoots as a food stylist, photographer, recipe developer, art director, and digital creator.
Now, I work with creatives, entrepreneurs, and brands to build their Rising Substack publications, websites, and create their content ecosystems. I bring both strategy and intuition to every project I work on. You can work with me 1:1 or join the courses learn more.
I’m also a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and The Nutritious Life Studio, a Master Reiki practitioner, meditation teacher, Incan-trained healer, cacao ceremonialist, and mother of two.
When I’m not collaborating with clients or recording a podcast episode, you’ll find me at the farmers market with my family, doing Pilates (I am mat-certified), or sipping on a mug of Green Smoothie Soup.
