People often comment on the colors that I use in my content. What they don’t always see is the why behind it. For the past six years, I’ve been working with Latinè owned brands as a recipe developer and content creator.

That influence shows up in the photos and videos that I style, the props that I choose, and the recipes I develop. My father is from Chile and my mother’s family traces back to five generations to Calabria, Italy but there are also stories of Sicilian roots.

What I didn’t expect on my recent trip to Sicily was being cracked open to creative inspiration. This week’s BTS podcast episode (coming Sunday) explores exactly that, how creative work can be inspired by culture and travel.
