When I said this to a client recently, she shared that dreaming big was not something that came easy to her. She did what she was, “supposed to do.” Dreaming was new to her even as she shifted her career to being an artist.

Pasta Secrets Learned from Sicily
I sat with Anarella in the kitchen of Three Farms Island after having vertigo from traveling on a bus through the Sicilian countryside. I have Ménière's disease which creates an in-balance in my inner ear. While the rest of the group, toured the farm of olive, pistachio, lemon trees, and so much more with Fabio, her partner.
Annarella poured me a tea with the peel of a lemon, a traditional Sicilian wintertime tea, known to settle the stomach. I felt better instantly! She also shared some of her cooking secrets with me including adding fennel to pasta water to add flavor, so ridiculously good!
wrote about + shared the pasta recipe this week too! I ate course after course of incredible veggie dishes with my group. And I finished off the afternoon with Anarella and Fabio in the kitchen with an espresso and a square of carob chocolate.It not only felt like I knew Annarella for lifetimes, I made a friend that I can’t wait to see again! I am grateful to have Three Farms Island olive oil thanks to the tree we adopted named, Soulful Sweets to use in the meantime. Take a cooking class or Adopt an Olive Tree
