Gratitude Practice, The Recipe That Saves My Mornings, & Winter Holiday Menu
“Wear gratitude like a cloak, and it will feed every corner of your life.” —Rumi
My heart is full of gratitude this week. I taught the Substack 101 Workshop with my co-teacher Jenna Knapp. We had 27 people join us to create their Substack profiles. I can’t wait to see what they create!
I am working on the Substack 101 replay + updating the workbook. If you missed the workshop, you can still join us and watch the replay. You can also join the Build Your Substack in a Day Workshop on Saturday 12/7 here
Curious, do you have a gratitude practice? This is something I have been doing lately. I walk you through it this in the voice note below.
If it feels safe to close your eyes (you can leave them open as well). You can do this practice seated, standing, or lying down.
Think of something you are grateful for, imagine that you can feel what you are grateful for in every cell of your body. Take a deep breath breath, feel that gratitude.
If you closed your eyes, open them and come back into the space. Leave a comment and let me know if you try it, I am so grateful for you!

The Overnight Chia Oats That Save My Mornings (And Sometimes Afternoons)
This is not so much a recipe, it’s really a “make it your own template” for overnight chia oats. I like my chia oats with extra milky + warm berries on top. Eat this in the morning or as a late afternoon snack, like I do on very full days. Bonus: They also travel well when packed in a cooler with an ice pack, remember to pack a spoon! Make these for your future self
Thanksgiving & Winter Holiday Menu
A few years ago, I did a partnership with the iconic Grand Central Terminal in New York City. I went all out and created a holiday menu which included: Crispy Chicken w Herb Butter Sauce, Harvest Salad w Lemon Balsamic Dressing, Appetizer Board w Roasted Chestnuts & Ham Wrapped Figs, and Dessert Board w Fresh Whipped Cream.

Listening to The Bridgerton Playlist
Classical music gives me life! I wanted to be an orchestra conductor when I was a little girl and played clarinet from ages 8 to 16. I started listening to this playlist in June and I am sharing it again! I highly recommend giving it a listen while you work, play, or create this week. Press play
Yoga Nidra to Pause the Never Ending To-Do List
Phew… This will be a full week for me, maybe it is for you too? I know have three days to jam in a full week’s worth of work. I am traveling for work to NYC. The kids are off Thursday and Friday and I know they want to put up the tree. It’s also the time of year when I cook Ed his favorite foods. Press pause and breath
1:1 Content Creation Strategy Sessions
I worked on building a client’s new website as well as creating their brand new Instagram bio this week. I am meeting another client to work with her in-person in NYC to create her new coaching offer. My gift is seeing how creatives and entrepreneurs can create success and profit in their businesses.
