Broken Glass, Bright Spots, & Blender Pancakes

What are you celebrating this week? My cup feels full after a long time of feeling like my glass was broken (yes, I cried after writing that).
We celebrated my daughter Ella’s 10th birthday on Tuesday, at the restaurant where I went into labor with her. It was a beautiful full circle moment. I am so excited to see how her journey continues to unfold!
I was chosen out of over 1,000 applicants to speak at the Alt Summit in Palm Springs, CA. I am hosting a round table, “Raising Your Voice Through Podcasting,” on Monday March 17th. If you are going, let me know.
I also went to my first women’s circle since 2023, to celebrate my friend
’s birthday. It was a reminder that being in community with other women is so powerful! Tell me, what did you celebrate this week? What’s Nourishing My Creativity This Week:
Launching Jumpstart Your Substack:
I taught my fourth Build Your Substack in a Day workshop yesterday. I am so excited to see what this round of participants create! The next workshop is Thursday 3/20. I am also building on a course to teach you the strategy that I work with my 1:1 clients on. Jumpstart Your Substack is a four week course to create, launch, and grow your publication. We will work on your branding, using your voice, leveraging features like Notes and lives, creating your posting schedule, and so much more! Jumpstart Your Substack
Weekday Banana Blender Pancakes
These pancakes come together fast in a blender or food processor. My kids love them, especially on a weekday morning and it's a great way to use up your ripe bananas. And yes, they waffle! Which means, if you have a waffle iron, this batter also works! It’s actually my preferred method because I can do other things while the waffles cook. Bonus: These pancakes or waffles store in the fridge for a few days and freeze well, which means you can toss them in the toaster, any time of the day! Make Weekday Pancakes

Launched Delicious Tangents with Victoria Granof
My friend, food creative coach, and client
launched her new Substack, . This was a labor of love to create with her over the course of the past few months. There are so many incredible design details, like her cover photo for her publication. Her welcome/about page also has people intrigued + subscribing immediately. I deeply resonate with her first post about being the first pancake in her family. If you are a fellow creative, interested in what it’s like to create full time, and to live a creative life Read Mommy is a WitchUsing the How We Feel App
My friend and grief coach Tammy Faulds,
introduced me to the app and I share it with my friends and clients often. It helps me to describe what I am feeling beyond happy, sad, anxious, etc. It also teaches you tools on how to move thorough your emotions, which are like the weather and the change. My kids use it too! Their favorite part of the app is, “Burn the Negative,” the app shakes the phone, as it metaphorically burns what you wrote. Bonus: This app is completely free and I just realized that they have a Substack too! Tap Into Your FeelingsWishing you ease this week,
PS: Are Substack curious? Listen to the podcast episode about building your new digital home on Substack. The next Build Your Substack in a Day Workshop is on Thursday 3/20 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm EST. Build Your Substack
